Giraffe360 LiDAR scanning technology

Connect the dots and map properties multi-dimensionally

Capture all your data in just 60 seconds

01 — Quick & Simple Capture

The simpler, faster and more cost effective way of capturing point cloud models yourself. 3D scan at the click of a button, without the need for training, professional camera operators or expensive services. Create point cloud models in under 60 seconds.

02 — Advanced LiDAR Technology

Our purpose built integrated LiDAR scanning technology enables you to map any space by capturing over 200 thousand data points, from just one scan. Our LiDAR has a tested range of 50m with 98% accuracy.

03 — Automatically Stitched and Enhanced by AI

The data points form structures, which are colourised using the visual data and stitched together to form a complete 3D visualisation, floor by floor.

e57 files are compatible with universal CAD & BIM modelling software

It used to take us two days to capture less than what we can now get in 2 hours with Giraffe360. The ability to capture so much, so quickly, is a godsend, compared to our old processes - which included capturing things manually and taking photographs on site visits. We no longer miss things when capturing each property.

Knowledge base

Currently we offer e57 file format, which is a universal standard and works with most software solutions. We also offer .ply, however, it comes unstitched and on an individual scan by scan basis.

The laser incorporated in the Giraffe360 camera produces an invisible beam which emerges from the rotating laser source. The laser is classified as laser Class 1 under IEC 60825-1 ed 3 2014 in the USA and Canada and Class 1 Consumer Laser Product under EN 50689:2021 and EN 60825-1:2014 in the European Union and the United Kingdom. Caution: This device contains one or more lasers. Use other than as described in the Giraffe360 Manual, repair, or disassembly may cause damage, which could result in hazardous exposure to infrared laser emissions that are not visible. This equipment should be serviced by Giraffe360 or an authorized service provider.
