Asari Integration: How Giraffe360 Sends Photos, Floor Plans and Tours

The Giraffe360 and Asari logos

Once the shoot is edited, your property in Asari can take its media straight from the Giraffe360 project: the photos, the floor plans, the virtual tour link and the property's video on YouTube. One thing works differently from Reapit or Propstack, which replace an earlier copy. Send an edited photo to Asari a second time and Asari keeps both. So the first send is worth getting right, and a later one needs a little tidying.

A Token from Asari, Once per Workspace

The connection runs on a token that Asari generates for Giraffe360. An Organisation Admin or Manager sets it up:

  1. In Giraffe360, open Manage workspace, go to the Integrations tab and select Connect beside Asari.
  2. In Asari, go to Tools and select Giraffe360, then Generate token. You can set the token's scope; left empty, it covers the whole company.
  3. Copy the token.
  4. Back in Giraffe360, paste it into the Access token field, select Ok, then Got it, and check that Asari shows as Connected.

If the token is refused, check that it comes from your agency's Asari account and is still active. Demo accounts can't connect.

Each workspace holds its own connection. A second workspace connects with the token for the Asari account its own team uses, and the first workspace's connection stays as it is. If Asari later rejects a stored token, the Integrations tab shows Reconnect required. Select Reconnect and paste a new token, and every project keeps its link and its sending history.

Finding the Property in Asari

Each Giraffe360 project goes with one Asari property, and anyone with edit access to the project can link them:

  1. Select Add integration below the project title, then Choose beside Asari.
  2. Search by address, reference or ID, or paste the property's link from Asari, and check the result. A Best Match suggestion still needs that check.
  3. Select Connect.
  4. Choose now goes on to sending; Later keeps the link for another time.

An Asari label then appears below the project title. When a search finds nothing, "Can't find it? Enter the property ID manually" takes the Asari property ID instead.

The First Send

Send assets, in the Asari menu, steps through the project. On Still photos, filter by All, Original or AI enhanced and pick the images. On Floor plans, pick the plans, and the top-down and isometric property maps when the project has them. On Other data, choose the version of the virtual tour link and the YouTube video. Skip any step you don't need, then select Send.

Back on the project, a yellow mark next to the Asari label means Giraffe360 is still processing the send. A red one means something went wrong. Select the label to read the error, check the workspace connection, and send those items again. A tour link or video you can't select may need publishing in Giraffe360 first.

Sending an Edited Photo Again

Later, a photo gets retouched. When you send it again, Asari adds it as a new copy beside the old one. Check the new copy in Asari, then remove the older one there. Photos you haven't changed are skipped, so selecting the whole set again doesn't double them. A virtual tour you edit needs its link sent again the same way, by hand.

Unlinking a Project or the Workspace

Disconnect, in a project's Asari menu, unlinks it straight away, without a confirmation. The property in Asari keeps everything already sent, and the project keeps its media in Giraffe360. If you link the project again, its sending history starts over, so check the property in Asari before sending, especially where it already has copies.

Disconnecting the whole workspace is for an Organisation Admin or Manager, with the disconnect control beside Asari on the Integrations tab and Disconnect in the confirmation. It removes the token and nothing from Asari. Project links can survive it and reappear when the workspace reconnects, so when moving to a different Asari account, unlink the projects first. For a rejected token, Reconnect is the better fix, because it keeps the links and history that disconnecting would lose.

Frequently asked questions

No. The Asari integration sends photos, floor plans, the virtual tour link and a YouTube video. Property descriptions and property website links aren't part of it.
